Nvivo is just one of many qualitative data analysis software options. The Pumerantz Library currently has four computers with it installed. Nvivo allows you import, code, and run queries on your qualitative data. In this workshop you will be introduced to Nvivo, told what kinds of data can be imported, shown some of the basic tools, and have demonstrated how to code qualitative data called coding.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Recall where computers with Nvivo are located in the library
• Identify the data types that can be imported into Nvivo
• Identify the process used to create codes and coding in Nvivo
