Welcome to “The Challenge of the Adult Learner in the Health Sciences.” This is Module 2 in a two-part course on Adult Education in the Health Sciences. In this module, we’ll be exploring pedagogy and andragogy as a continuum versus a strict dichotomy, the drawbacks to being a “sage on the stage”, and how to determine the best approach for different kinds of learning situations, especially in the health sciences.
If you’ve not yet completed Module 1 “Understanding Teaching Styles: Pedagogy and Andragogy”, you will want to do so before you complete this module.
