Heart Supplies: Graphic Medicine for Empathy and Creativity in Healthcare

Graphic medicine is an emerging field that uses comics to explore different facets of the healthcare experience. Come learn more about how different institutions (including WesternU) are bringing literal art into the art of medicine.

Participants are encouraged to bring a pen and paper to this session. 

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

• Discuss the complexity of the spread of medical misinformation online
• Evaluate medical claims to determine accuracy
• Apply evidence-based strategies to combat and debunk medical misinformation
