What’s New with Magic Links? Update on How to Locate, Format, and Integrate URLs into Instruction

This workshop will focus on helping faculty create reliable URLs to library resources for their courses and research. Attendees will learn how to identify and generate stable URLs—links that remain consistent over time and function correctly when shared in bibliographies, syllabi, and learning platforms such as Elentra and Canvas. The session will demonstrate how to copy existing permalinks from library databases or use available tools to produce corrected, durable URLs that ensure students can easily access articles, ebooks, and other materials.
