Being Accessible in your Online Learning

This CETL session will cover the basics of accessibility in your online courses and documents that are provided to learners. This session will cover accessibility options in commonly used applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and best practices to use when delivering your content.

This presentation will have a small “hands on” segment that you will be able to apply some of the techniques used.

• List and describe the accessibility tools in common applications.
• Describe best practices for online digital accessibility.
• Apply common practices of digital accessibility to example slides.
