Building a HyFlex Course to Support Student Success
Presented by Wendy Tietz, Professor, Department of Accounting, Kent State University
A HyFlex course gives the learner the choice of how to “attend” the class: face to face, live online, or recorded for later viewing, and learners can switch among the delivery choices as needed. If you or your institution are considering the HyFlex model, but are uncertain how to begin or whether it is the optimal format for a course, this presentation can help. Applicable to K-20 courses, this webinar from Dr. Tietz will provide insights on the design and pedagogical thinking necessary to create a quality, engaging HyFlex course. Dr. Tietz has taught using the HyFlex format for nearly a decade — including large-enrollment classes — and earned QM-Certification for a HyFlex course. Join her for lessons learned and best practices for teaching and learning in this format.
Webinar begins at 2:00 p.m. ET, 1:00 p.m. CT, 12:00 p.m. MT, 11:00 a.m. PT
