Design Principles in Action: Components of an Effective Learning Strategy
January 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Create engaging, memorable, and motivational learning experiences by utilizing the Context, Challenge, Activity, and Feedback (CCAF) design model. The CCAF model is a framework to help you create interactive learning activities, more specifically, scenario-based digital learning activities in the form of simulations, case studies and branching scenarios. Join us for this session as we delve into the details of the CCAF model and how it can lead to increased student engagement, better retention of material, and improved learning outcomes.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
- List the four foundational components of the CCAF model.
- Recognize at least three key terms associated with the CCAF model.
- Apply the components of the CCAF to an instructional event based on the Madeline Hunter classic lesson plan.
