Essential Faculty Services: Maximizing Research by Using Interlibrary Loans

In this workshop faculty can learn how Interlibrary Loan (ILL) can expand access to academic resources beyond the Pumerantz Library’s core collection. This workshop will guide attendees through the process of using the interlibrary system (ILLiad), and the best practices for making successful requests.

• Describe the role and function of Interlibrary Loan services in expanding access to research materials.
• Submit an ILL request using ILLiad.
• Evaluate potential challenges in the ILL process and develop strategies to overcome them for improved research outcomes.
