Hands On with 3D-Printed Models and 3D Pens
September 25 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Step into the future of teaching with our hands-on 3D printing workshop! Discover an exciting display of 3D printed models that are transforming teaching and learning. Dive into an interactive experience where you’ll use 3D pens to enhance bone models with lifelike ligaments—yours to keep as a unique takeaway. We will have a variety of 3D printed items on display and discuss how they are used in the classroom. This is a hands-on (in-person) session.
At the end of this CETL session, attendees will be able to:
- Identify some of the models available as 3D prints
- Describe how 3D printed items can be used in class
- Add features to a 3D print using a 3D pen
- Discuss how a 3D model could improve student understanding verses a 2D drawing or image
