How’s It Going So Far? The Art of Midterm Pulse Checks

We’ll explore simple check-in tools and help you design questions that get meaningful, actionable feedback. Walk away with a ready-to-use pulse check you can implement in your next class.

  • Identify at least three different methods for conducting a midterm pulse check in a course.
  • Describe the key characteristics of effective pulse check questions that produce actionable feedback.
  • List at least two tools that can be used to collect and review pulse check responses.
