Move over Millennials, iGen is here.
February 5, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Currently, the majority of students, residents and early career clinicians in healthcare belong to the Millennial generation (born 1980-1994). Millennials are about to be surpassed by iGen (born 1994 – 2012) who comprise 32% of the global population and are poised to begin entering graduate level education. Educators must be mindful of this emerging generation in order to create meaningful and inclusive learning environments. This presentation will discuss the characteristics of iGen and how educators can use this knowledge to begin creating strategies for working effectively with this new generation in healthcare.
