Spring into the Future: Unveiling WesternU’s Generative AI Insights
April 16 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Join us for an informative session where participants from the campus AI Professional Learning Community (PLC) reveal the latest results of our campus-wide survey on Generative AI. As ChatGPT grew during the Fall of 2023, this interdisciplinary group sought to understand how our university community perceives and embraces this cutting-edge innovation. The entire campus community was invited to participate in a survey on Generative AI: Perspectives and Perceptions. See how WesternU faculty, staff and students perceive ChatGPT–from interest levels and use, to ethical concerns and predictions. Discover how our findings can not only enrich faculty and student development, but also help inform the future of AI at WesternU.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss WesternU community perceptions, attitudes, and perspectives on generative AI use
- Develop an awareness regarding AI adoption, ethical issues, and AI’s impact on health sciences professions
- Consider recommendations for generative AI use at WesternU
