The Dreaded “B” Word: Alleviating Your Advisees’ Angst About Board Exams
March 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Designed for COMP faculty advisors but open to faculty advisors in other colleges, this session will provide a brief overview of board preparation for Level/Step 1/2, the role of the board advisor, use of mock exams, and key advice/resources provided to students for each level. We’ll also highlight tips for thriving during dedicated board study time and provide context for what to do if you’re notified that an advisee has failed the COMLEX. By the end of the session, you should have a good sense of the available board-related resources, and how to support your advisee through these key milestones.
