The Ripple Effect: Building a Culture of Mentorship
March 18 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

A culture of mentorship does not happen by accident; it develops when individuals at every level choose to invest in others’ growth. This session invites staff, managers, and faculty to consider how their everyday interactions shape professional development and belonging within their organization. Participants will clarify the role of mentorship in organizational success, explore actionable mentoring behaviors, and identify meaningful steps they can take to expand mentorship within their sphere of influence. Together, we will examine how small acts of guidance can create a powerful ripple effect across our organization.
Learning Objective:
- Define mentorship and distinguish it from supervision or management
- Identify practical strategies that can be used to provide mentorship within your current role.
- Develop actionable steps to intentionally contribute to a culture of mentorship within their department or unit.
