Write Questions for the Right Answer

What happens if students write exam questions instead of taking exam questions? Writing questions is a rich learning experience.

The session is a micro-learning approach to the process of student-driven test items. We will consider an idea to increase student involvement in learning and self-evaluation, minimize cheating, decrease exam stress, and make learning and testing experiences more meaningful. We will share ideas for how to incorporate student question writing into lesson planning and test construction.

Please be prepared to share your experiences with the group if you have utilized question writing as a teaching or exam strategy. We’d love to hear how it went!
