WSC and CETL Presents – Yes, And: Cultivating Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity Through Improv
February 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Absolutely anyone can learn to apply improv concepts at work and in life. Benefits of improv include stronger communication skills, improved teamwork, more confidence, enhanced empathy, and increased flexibility. In this introductory in-person session we’ll identify, discuss, and practice improv skills starting with the basic improv principle: yes, and. We’ll draw parallels between the skills and experiences playing improv games and in the real world. This session is NOT about performance or being funny; but participation is required. No experience necessary, just a willingness to give it a try.
Learning Objectives:
- Apply the basic improv principle of “Yes, And.”
- Describe how improv activities relate to real‑world workplace interactions.
- Practice simple improv techniques to build ideas collaboratively with partners.
