The Eye Movement Simulator (EMS) is a realistic webApp designed in 3D that simulates the movement of external ocular muscles (EOMs) and pupillary responses. The webApp simulates the physical examination of EOMs by dragging the computer mouse as the focal point for the eyes. Pathologies can be reproduced in the simulator through using simple checkboxes to activate/inactive the individual external ocular muscles and cranial nerves that control them. The realistic rendering in 3D provides pupillary response, as well blinking by the eyelids.
