This workshop will cover the basic mechanics of search engines and what it means to use “the deep web” so you can decide what resources you need to answer your research questions.
At the end of the workshop, participants will have learned:
- How search engines actually search the web
- How to identify the surface web vs. deep web
- How to identify appropriate tools for different searches
