The Power of Gratitude: Fostering Connection and Wellbeing in Our Work and Classrooms

November 6 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

As the semester winds down and the season of thanks approaches, join us for a reflective, interactive session on the power of gratitude. Together, we’ll explore research on how gratitude enhances wellbeing, strengthens collaboration, and fosters positive learning environments. Through guided reflection and simple activities, participants will identify meaningful ways to integrate gratitude into their daily work and teaching practice. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what makes your work and community worth appreciating.

By the end of this session, participants will:

  1. Reflect on the role of gratitude in enhancing professional and personal wellbeing.
  2. Identify one gratitude strategy to implement in your daily or professional life.
  3. Practice at least one simple, evidence-based gratitude for teaching in the classroom, working in teams, and for self-care.
