Writing for Publication Series #2
October 14, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The faculty role includes contributing the body of knowledge for the profession. Faculty can contribute to the body of knowledge through publishing. This 4-part series will review the publishing process from multiple viewpoints. WesternU has several editors, associate editors, authors, and reviewers who are coming together to share first-hand experiences. Participants will be able to develop a personal plan for creating the next manuscript.
This workshop series is open to all WesternU faculty and staff. Each session will be approximately 60-minutes in length and will meet at 12:00 p.m. every Wednesday during the month of October. Attendance at ALL of 4 lectures in the series is strongly encouraged and it is anticipated that participants will work on their writing skills in between sessions. Completion Certifications will be given to those who attend and participate in all four sessions of the series.
