Research doesn’t always have to be done in the library or sitting at a computer sifting through databases. With mobile apps, you can conduct quick, evidenced-based research by downloading on-the-go tools to answer all your point-of-care, drug, and clinical questions.
In this session, you will learn how to:
- Access and download different mobile apps onto your devices
- Explain which mobile app to use in a patient scenario
- Demonstrate professional etiquette on using mobile apps while with a patient
We’ll review the following mobile apps: DynaMed, UpToDate, VisualDX, 5MinuteConsult, IBM Micromedex, and AccessMedicine. Whether you’re teaching your students how to use mobile apps or using it for your own practice, mobile apps make the research experience convenient and reliable.
