In this hands-on session, discover how Microsoft Forms can help streamline teaching, gather feedback, check for understanding, and support everyday work tasks. We’ll explore the differences between Forms and Quizzes, share tips for choosing the right settings, and walk through how to create, distribute, and analyze responses using Forms. You’ll also see creative examples from across WesternU and learn how to embed a form or quiz into PowerPoint to engage participants and display results in real time. Stick around after the session for optional open lab time (up to one hour) to experiment, troubleshoot, and get help with your own Forms projects.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
- Describe the basic purpose and functions of Microsoft (MS) Forms
- Discuss how MS forms can be used as a tool in your current role
- Recognize how MS forms can be used to enhance teaching and learning
- Create a basic form or quiz and distribute it to a target audience
