The Institutional Review Board (IRB ) and The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) has an important role in university research. One of the roles of the IRB is to help to facilitate and process human subject protocol submission for appropriate approval. One of the roles of IACUC is to help to facilitate and process animal research protocol submissions for appropriate approval. This presentation will highlight the IRB/IACUC submission platform IRBnet and the requirements for a successful submission to the approval process.

- Navigate IRBnet for submission of an IRB or IACUC protocol
- Locate important forms and information for IRB and IACUC protocol submission
- Anticipate common causes that may lead to delayed IRB and IACUC approval
